Continuing the cards and letters sent following my Dad's death, April 7th, 2006:
Dear Sylvia,
Indeed, there will be a major void in your life.
How fortunate for Bill and all of you, that he was so faithful, and at peace with his life and death.
Scott and I were just talking about you the other day and remembering good times with you. Our memories were so similar. How good you were to us, and how special you always made us feel.
I am truly sorry for your loss.
Make sure you take good care of you during this time.
