Continuing the cards and letters sent following my Dad's death, April 7th, 2006:
Sylvia - I returned only recently from an extended trip to find your very sad news. Although we knew each other for only a couple of years at Samohi, Bill was a very special friend whom I admired greatly, and although we didn't see each other for many years I thought of him frequently. How wonderful it was to see him in Portland and to have the opportunity to meet you.
May God shower you with blessings the remainder of life's journey.
